Jordan Whitehead, a 2011 alumni of Rice University, came on staff in May of 2012 serving as the Houston FCA Soccer Specific Representative. At Rice, Jordan played soccer on the women's soccer team, playing center midfield and defense. Growing up in Dallas, she played for the Dallas Texans Soccer Club. At Rice she began attending the weekly Thursday night FCA huddles, where she was drawn by the community and genuine fellowship with the other athletes. After attending the 2009 College Advance, she began to live her life for Christ. During her last two years in school, she served on the FCA leadership team and also spent a summer in Pennsylvania playing for a semi-professional soccer ministry team. Jordan played soccer from the age of four on and has a passion for the sport. She is excited to use her experiences to reach out to the soccer community, sharing Christ's love and the hope found in Him. She is married to Michael Whitehead.
