What is your part?

 

As a board member, you will be asked to take ownership of your local area and the coaches and athletes that it represents.  Through outreach events and fundraising efforts, the ministry and more importantly God’s kingdom will be expanded.

 

Board Responsibilities:

 

Prayer Support:

Ø      Please pray and cover the local staff and coaches in this area

Ø      Please pray for God’s hand in our development and fundraising efforts

Ø      Please pray for the salvation of our coaches and athletes

Ø      Please pray that we will function and minister according to God’s will

 

Community Development and Outreach: 
 Ø     Help organize and brainstorm about things that will help the community and local schools in your area

Ø     Become a part of a FCA Booster Club, where you join with parents to adopt a local school and coach

Ø     Lead a Coaches Bible Study

Ø     Start in Adult Huddle

 

Financial:

Ø     Each board member will be asked to give to the ministry on a monthly or quarterly basis (however the Lord leads you to give)

Ø     Each board member will be responsible for helping local staff with fundraising efforts (through golf tourney and local banquet)

Ø     Each board member will be asked to introduce at least five new donors to the ministry of FCA every year (church and community contacts)
